Yes. Mixed KBS Klean keeps in a standard chemical spray bottle and you can use it cold. Hot water makes the cleaning action more effective, so mixing with hot water is worth doing, but the solution does not stop working once it cools. Plenty of KBS customers keep a bottle mixed and ready on the shop shelf.
Why Hot Water Still Matters When Mixing
The warmer the water used, the more effective and powerful the cleaning action of KBS Klean. That is why the directions specify hot water in every ratio. If your mixed bottle has gone cold and the job is a stubborn one, mixing fresh with hot water will clean faster than the cold bottle will.
For routine shop cleaning, the cold bottle is fine and convenient, which is the whole point of keeping one.
Do Not Confuse It With the RustBlast Bottle
Both KBS Klean and RustBlast commonly get decanted into spray bottles, and they do opposite jobs. KBS Klean is diluted and clear. RustBlast is used full strength and is dyed specifically so it can be told apart from clear KBS Klean. See what color RustBlast is.
The dye identifies the RustBlast bottle. It does not identify which dilution the KBS Klean bottle holds, so labeling is still on you.
Shake Before Each Use
The directions say to shake well before each use, and that applies to a stored bottle at least as much as a fresh mix. Shake it, then apply liberally and wash the surface for 5 to 10 minutes or as long as needed.
The Rules Do Not Change for a Stored Mix
A bottle that has been sitting is still KBS Klean at whatever ratio you mixed. Do not allow it to dry on the surface before rinsing, rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning, let the surface dry, and wear protective rubber gloves and safety glasses. On metal you intend to paint, follow with RustBlast before coating.
